Sales Executive
Location: Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey, UK
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 pa depending on skills/experience, OTE £35,000 pa
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, well-organised team player to become a key member of a growing sales team. The focus of the role will be on driving revenue from existing accounts as well as closing new deals. You must love talking about software; more importantly, customers and potential customers must love talking to you!
Prerequisites:
The right candidate will be educated to degree level and ideally have 1+ years of sales experience with a proven achievement of targets. Strong presentation skills, the ability to work with a wide variety of clients and an affinity to technology is a must.
Responsibilities include:
- Comprehensively communicate and present products and value proposition over the phone, online and face-to-face to prospective clients across multiple verticals
- Drive outbound sales campaigns and improved inbound lead qualification
- Work closely with the sales and marketing team to generate and execute effective campaigns to drive new leads
- Help to grow opportunity pipeline and assist the team in achieving monthly sales targets
- Take on own pipeline of opportunities and drive deals through to close
- Ensure CRM system is fully up to date with comprehensive information throughout sales cycle
The Person - experience & skills:
- Educated to degree level
- 1+ years of sales experience, fresh graduates who can demonstrate a proven achievement of targets and a drive to work in sales will be considered
- Track record of working with a wide variety of client across multiple verticals
- Proven ability to see a sale through yourself from opportunity through to close
- Strong presentation and personal skills on the phone, online and in-person
- Experience working with senior and junior contacts within a client base; you must be able to build trust and mutual respect with senior executives as well as mid-level job roles
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills – you have the ability to make complex contractual, technical and financial details sound simple
- Ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple prospects/deals at the same time
- You are cooperative, adaptable and flexible, always maintaining a positive attitude.
